Energy efficiency rebates now available
State Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program (SEEARP)
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 appropriated funds to each state for the establishment and administration of a State Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program. The amount available to Tennessee residents is $5.9 million. This is a first‐come‐first‐serve rebate program. Tennessee residents who replace an existing room air conditioner, central air conditioner, air source heat pump, or gas furnace with a new ENERGY STAR® qualified model purchased on or after April 22, 2010 are eligible to apply for the rebate. Approved applicants will receive a MasterCard® Prepaid Card via mail in approximately 6‐8 weeks.
SEEARP Requirements

More Information
STEMC has learned that the www.e-rebates.org website has an issue. Applicants are asked to select their utility provider from a list, and STEMC is not listed. We have made contact with TVA and are going to see that this is resolved quickly.
